Tori's Favorite Espresso Rub Recipe

Updated: Jul 28, 2020

I love cooking with Monkey Monkey products at home so I plan to post a few of my favorite concoctions here.

I have a great espresso spice mix that I like to put together. I normally make a lot at once and keep it in my spice cabinet to add to any recipe that fancies my whims.

Any finely ground espresso will work, but I personally think the flavors of our store espresso lend the best taste to this recipe. It is a mixture of medium and dark roasts, so it has a naturally sweet and smoky taste without being too bitter. You can purchase a 12 oz bag at our store for only $11.36 or order a different quantity by talking with me or a store manager.

This rub goes great on chicken, beef, and pork and I especially love this seasoning when it's been heightened from smoke on a barbecue grill. I normally rub my meat down and allow it to hang out for 30 minutes or so before cooking it. My husband slow roasted pork ribs last weekend and rubbed them down with this spice mix and Worcestershire sauce. They were amazing.

I'd love to see what you all come up with. Share what you make with me in the comments, on social media, or email (info@monkeymonkeynola.com)!
